Phresh Ali Billy Clint: The 1990s (MIXTAPE)

In 2014, Phresh Ali released his first mixtape since his debut album "BANG BANG" (2010). 

Inspired by the "golden age" of hip-hop, the 1990's. Ali pays homage to the era by rhyming over some of our favorite classic hip-hop beats, with a creative, modern approach. From the historic flashback clips in the intro, to respects paid to a fallen angel in the music world on the outro, this project is an absolutely nostalgic trip through one of the cultures greatest times.

Phresh Ali defines the duality in his name with the range of styles and adaptation to the music on every single track, along with lyrical dexterity and witty stories. Phresh collaborated with 8690 Productions and filmed a few music videos when the project initially dropped in 2014. Ali revisited the tape in 2018 -2019, and filmed visuals for some fan favorites, with the help of Victor Moore of Victor Moore Films and DeAshley "Ricky Don" Curtis of PhotoMotion.

Billy Clint, named after the president of the US for the majority of the 90's, Bill Clinton, is  one of Ali's most prided works. A gem, strictly for the listeners.
